I have noticed the sand looking a little dirty and started to think, I haven't seen my diamond goby in a couple of days. I moved all the rocks and nothing. Not even a skeleton. Now I am wondering if he wedged his self into a rock hole. I even took apart the filter and nothing.

He could’ve died and been eaten aswell. The chance you have trapped him in the sand by moving the rocks, seems very small to me. Yeah, he hasn't been found on the ground. He isn't in the sump or overflow.
